You can delete your LocalAI TV account yourself, from inside the app. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need a reason.
IN THE APP
You can delete your account from inside the app at: Profile → Settings → Privacy & Account → Delete Account.
- Open the LocalAI TV app and sign in with your mobile number.
- Open Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Open Privacy & Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm. You will be signed out straight away.
BY EMAIL
If you cannot sign in — for example you have lost the number the account is registered to — write to [email protected] from any address, with:
- The mobile number the account is registered to
- The constituency or channel you used
We may ask one or two questions to confirm the account is yours before we delete it, so that nobody can delete someone else's account. We act on these requests within 7 working days.
WHAT IS DELETED
Your account is closed immediately and stops working at once. Your profile, your mobile number, your chosen constituency and the content you uploaded are then permanently removed within 30 days.
WHAT WE KEEP, AND WHY
- News items that were published to a channel stay published, as part of that channel's record. They are no longer linked to your account.
- Records we are required by Indian law to retain — for example transaction or payout records — are kept for the period the law requires and are not used for anything else.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. If you sign up again later with the same number, it is a new account and nothing from the old one comes back.
